A Busy Project Moses

A Busy Project Moses

These are busy days for the young men at the Moses Project. September is full of holidays from school centered around Independence Day as well as Teacher’s Day. We have had the privilege of having the young men around the farm doing various chores. Some of them even worked in the accounting department helping to catch up on some filing. Several helped with the construction at the chicken processing plant and others helped clean some of the tilapia pools. As a “reward” for their hard work, they were all treated to a Honduran favorite, fried whole fish.

The young men were able to participate in a soccer tournament up in a mountain town. They were not able to walk away with a victory, but we believe that losing is such a valuable lesson. Their training and preparation for the spring league will continue, and they will continue to grow in their skills and stamina.

Our admissions process for new candidates will begin in the month of October. Our goal is to add 10 new young men to the program for the 2026 school year that starts in February.  We appreciate your prayers as we begin the process and identify the new participants.
